| My rates begin at $1000/day and/or $125/hour (both open to negotiations) and are applied to the following.
---Commercial - (Product, Advertising, Catalog, Fashion, etc.) - Day rate (Half-Day rate available, but with limitations)
---Editorial / Illustrative - Day / Half-Day rate. PER IMAGE rate available if assignment requires extensive travel, with travel expenses paid upfront.
---Commercial Portrait - (Corporate, PR, Annual Reports, etc.) - Day / Half-Day rate. (Small-business $125 sitting fee w/ limited use and print/digital file fees.)
---Personal Portrait - (Home display, non-commercial use.) $125 sitting fee per person . Prints extra. Location and material fees extra.
---Corporate - (Industrial, Process Documentation, Insurance, Annual Reports, Training, In-House, etc). - Day rate (Half-Day rate available, but with limitations)
All the above rates are subject to the following factors which will increase the final cost to the client. If you would like a job quote, then please provide the following information in order for me to provide you with a more detailed initial quote.
----Client - Local, Regional, National, International; Government, Private, Coporate, etc.
----Usage - How will the image(s) be used: Advertising, Promotional, Corporate, Instructional, Editorial, etc.
----Type(s) of Media - Print, Web, Broadcast, etc.
----Duration - How long do you intend to use the image(s) ie. One time/month of..., one year campaign, etc.
----Insertions - How many times will the image(s) be used during the duration. ie. How many magazines will the image appear in? Number of brochures, etc.
----Rights* - What rights would you like to secure for the image(s). "One Time", "Limited", "Exclusive", "All Rights".
* I do not do "work for hire" and in most cases I will not assign "All Rights" to the client. When the image(s) is proprietary I prefer to give "Exclusive Rights" whereby I still maintain control of the image(s). This is often the most economical option for the client, however if the client is adamant about obtaining "All Rights," then I will be open to compromise, but additional fees will apply. In all instances, where the image is not proprietary, then "One-Time, Limited or Exclusive" rights will be negotiated.
For images used by Government agencies and Government Contracting companies , rights for these images will be "Exclusive with Limitations." If "All Rights" are required, then based upon the sensitivity of the subject matter, "All Rights with Limitations" will be assigned, with the return of "All Rights" to me after an agreed upon period of time.
Your initial quote will not reflect the additional costs normally associated with travel or studio assignments. These additional costs vary, but will usually consist of: materials, supplies, fees, equipment rentals, transportation, lodging, meals, etc. and will be factored into the final quote.
